What Is An Inverter AC

An Inverter Air Conditioner which is commonly known as inverter ac can be described as an air conditioner unit with inverter technology.

A device called power inverter is used in the air conditioner unit to control the frequency of power supplied to the compressor motor. Which controls the rotational speed of the compressor motor, this create variation in the flow of refrigerant to meet the cooling requirement of the room.

Thus inverter ac takes the higher power initially to attain the desired room temperature. But once the set temperature is attained by the inverter ac then it takes lesser power to maintain that set level of temperature in the room.

In case of non-inverter air conditioner, compressor motor have the fixed motor speed, so no variation in refrigerant flow, so after attaining desired temperature in the room, compressor gets off, and with the increase in temperature of room, it again starts and repeat the entire process to attain the desired temperature. So, whenever an air conditioner works, it takes lot of power.

The Benefits of Inverter Air Conditioner

  1. You achieve your comfort temperature much faster.
  2. No temperature fluctuations
  3. Low operational cost, Big saving in electricity bills.
  4. Less power consumption
  5. The start up time is less than the conventional air conditioner

Industry experts claims the inverter air conditioner unit consumes 30% to 50%  less power than the non-inverter air conditioner units.

Inverter air conditioners are more in demand now a days because of their benefits. Even though its price is higher than the conventional air conditioners, but because of low power consumption and saving in electricity bills, it covers its extra cost very shortly apart from that it gives the smooth cooling comfort during its entire operational period.
